David Bigger is our newest account executive, taking over the territory and accounts which had been previously handled by Dave Denby.
David started his career with internships at both Monsanto and Asgrow Seed Company (working on the soybean breeding project). After graduating from Mississippi State University, he moved to full-time employment with Wilbur-Ellis in 1993.
From 1996-2000 he worked for Erwin-Keith, Inc. on the seed production side of the business. He joined Hornbeck Seed in 2000, and from 2004 -2011 he was the Director of Germplasm Licensing for Worldwide Soytechnologies. Bayer CropScience purchased this business in 2012, and David stayed on as the U.S. Soybean Product Development Manager until 2015.
Most recently, David was the U.S. Business and Licensing Manager for GDM Seeds, Inc.
David and his wife Dara have 2 children (Wyly, who is following his father’s footsteps at Mississippi State, and Bailey, who is starting college in the fall). They reside in Marion, Arkansas.
David is active in Seed Association activities (he is on the board of the Arkansas Seed Dealers Association) and is also involved in local politics.
